6 months!

I cannot believe you turned 6 months yesterday (Dec. 22)! Where did half of the year go?! It still seems like last week I was snuggling you in the hospital. You have brought us so much joy! We cannot imagine life without you and we're not really sure what we did before we had you.

At 6 months you are...

-Sitting up unassisted. You've been doing this for a few weeks now, but you really have this down. When you are finished playing with whatever toy is in front of you, you like to throw yourself backwards (on purpose) because you know someone is going to catch you (stinker) or the pillow is behind you. You then proceed to kick the toy away.

-Eating baby food (a post to follow)... finally.

-Eating 6 oz. at each sitting and you have a pretty set schedule.

-Babbling, making lots of noise, and doing a new "growl" at people.

-Trying really, really hard to crawl.

-Enjoying every The Little Gym class. I always knew it was a great investment when I was working there, but I just didn't know how great it was until you came along.

-You are starting to have stranger anxiety. Unless you are really into whatever it is you are doing, you do not like to be out of eye shot of mommy or daddy.

-6-9 months clothes are starting to get tight on you. I actually had to go buy some 12 month clothes because up to this point we had all gifts and hand-me-downs.

-In a size 4 diaper.

-You're really attached to your bath turtle.

-Still sleeping through the night.

-Have your two bottom teeth.
