I grew up in Virginia Beach. Graduated with my undergrad degree in early childhood education from Old Dominion University in 2007 and my graduate degree in speech-language therapy in 2010.
In 2005, my journey with Carl started. We dated, we spent a weekend with my family in Sandbridge (and some how didn't scare him off), took a few weekend trips places, and spent a lot of time
In August 2008 we were married.
October 2009 we were so excited to find out we were pregnant with Hunter. My pregnancy was pretty uneventful with a little scare at 20 weeks when we discovered cysts on Hunter's brain. At 22 weeks, all but 1 was gone and that one had shrunk.
In June 2010, we welcomed Hunter into the world. He is absolutely beautiful and is a joy in our lives.
I started this blog to keep a record of our not so crazy life with our son. I sometimes post about speech therapy ideas/suggestions/etc.
